How to setup PPPoE or Static IP on Multy App?

Answer

Multy is a DHCP client in default. Please follow below steps if you want to set Multy WAN with a PPPoE or Static IP 

There are two ways to do it

#1, 

1. Please disable the DHCP on the Router/Modem which provided from ISP before the Multy installation. 

If you don’t know how to disable the DHCP on your Router/Modem, please follow #2 instruction.

2. Connect Multy and the Router/Modem as below picture.
2. Next, install the Multy system with your Multy App, a page called “Unable to Access Internet” will pop up during the installation.

3.Please use the PPPoE account or Static IP that provided from the ISP to set the Multy System, then click "Submit".
 OR 
4. After the installation finished, please make sure that the WAN IP is a public IP, you can check it on the Multy App>>Multy Icon >> WAN IP.

1. You will need a PC or switch to set it up. Connect the PC/Switch and the WAN port of Multy together as the below picture. 
 
2. Next, start the installation, and the PPPoE/Static IP page will pop up.
3. Please type the PPPoE account or Static IP that provided from the ISP to set the Multy System, then click "Submit".
4. Please switch the cable from the PC/Switch to the Router/Modem as below picture.
5. After the installation finished, please make sure that the WAN IP is a public IP, you can check it on the Multy App>>vMulty Icon >> WAN IP.
