It always shows limit power in the AP information. Why does the AP not get full power from the PoE switch?
When AP always get limited power, you can check power negotiate status by following two steps:
1. Check if software negotiate is enabled on AP:
2. Capture LLDP packets between AP and Switch and check the value (where allocated power shoud be uqual to requested power)
3. As another option, you can disable LLDP-MED on the switch port which AP connects to. Let the switch provide full power to the AP directly instead of negotiating from the LLDP-MED negotiation.
