How to configure the VPN settings if two sites are using the same network subnet?

Question

How to configure the VPN settings if two sites are using the same network subnet?

Answer

Since the two sites are using the same subnet, you must set the outbound SNAT and inbound DNAT on a VPN connection to fulfill this scenario. In the following configuration screen, you need to configure the NAT.

In this case, the outbound traffic source IP is 192.168.1.0/24 and it will be changed to 192.168.10.0/24 or 192.168.20.0/24. If the inbound traffic destination IP is 192.168.10.0/24 or 192.168.20.0/24, it will be changed to 192.168.1.0/24.
