Scenario

Why can't users find a device in the device list on the NSU utility. In addition, the SYS LED keeps blinking and never stops?

Step

Check the following:

  1. Press the power button and hold until a single beep sounds. Then release the button to shut down the device, and boot it again.
  2. Press the reset button and hold until two beeps sound; continue pressing the button for 5 more seconds. Then release the button to reset and restart the device.
  3. Power off and unplug the HDD from the NAS, and reboot again.

Verification

If the NAS still can’t finish the boot process, contact the local reseller or distributor for repair or replacement services.
