Question

Why is it that the throughput of the NWA1123-NI with 2.4GHz does not reach 300 Mbps when channel width is set to 20/40MHz?

Answer

When 2.4 GHz band is set to 20/40MHz channels, but rate speed does not reach 300Mbps, this is because the wireless environment contains a lot of co-channels or interference in the 2.4 GHz band, if you change to a relatively clean surrounding, it should be able to reach 300 Mbps. However, WLAN-5G uses the 5 GHz band which typically has less co-channel interference than 2.4 GHz, and is able to reach 300Mbps.
