What is the procedure to resolve the connection failure issue of myzyxel.com?

Scenario

What is the procedure to resolve this issue in which the device fails to register and connect to myzyxel.com?

Step

Please follow the steps below to resolve this issue:

Step 1. Please ensure that the WAN interface IP address can public access to Internet is working properly.

 

Step2. Please go to Confogiration > System > DNS > Domain Zone Forwarder > Add as below picture:

Add Domain Zone: *

And Public DNS Server: 8.8.8.8 to ensure the device can access Internet as well,

Query via: the WAN interface which customer uses to access the Internet.

 
 

 

 

 

 

Step3. Please go to Configuration > Licensing > Registration > Service > Press "Service License Refresh" as shown below: 

Verification

After adding this DNS rule, refreshing the License can ensure that you can connect to myZyXEL.com server, and register the device.
